From Chuck Hawley and Anthony Shave of Perpetual Motion

Most Spectacular 2004

 We had a great time in Atlanta in 04. We attend many of the northeast fest throughout the year but the Groundhog fest has such a great unique vibe. We really had no intention on performing that weekend but were convinced by others at the last second (note: lack of stage attire). The crowd was so loud and intense and the small gym we were in was very intimate. It was one of our favorite performances of all time. The other nice thing about the fest is that we have a number of juggling friends in the south and it gives us a great chance to see them and catch up.

Anthony and I stopped performing together in October of that year because our lives had changed. We are both married. Anthony has 2 kids. He works as a chemical engineer in Bethlehem PA and I work as an architect in Annapolis MD. Juggling remains important to both of us although even though we don't have as much time to devote to as we used to. This year I am on the IJA Board and I am the Championships Director. I have moved from on stage to back stage and still having fun.
