ONE
HUNDRED AND SIX JUGGLERS registered for the seventh annual
Groundhog Day Jugglers Festival. They came from as far North as
New Haven and as far West as Texas for our event. Propmaker Todd
Smith manned a table to sell juggling props Friday and Saturday.
The Jongleur Jugglers, Alan Howard, and Robbie Weinstein took
prizes in the competition. It was the Jongleur's second
Groundhog trophy. The AJA broke even on the event. Special
thanks go to the judges, including one picked from the show's
audience, the volunteers who performed in the public show and
Rick Purtee for his data processing help.

WE
HAVE RAISED THE LIGHTS in the juggling room. The two rows of
fluorescent lights closest to the inside wall now hang no more
than six inches down from the ceiling. This makes practice and
teaching much easier. We have replaced several light bulbs also.
The juggling room has never looked better. Rick Purtee, Rodger
French, and Jay Zipperman get credit for the mighty building
task.
